The Australian equivalent of the British List of Changes were the Australian Changes in War Materiel.
Other primary source documents pertaining to Australian Leather Infantry Equipment also exist, and are being researched at this time. As these are found, they will be included in this section.
Australian Changes in War Materiel
Originally known as Local Modifications (L.M.), these commenced in 1928, becoming the Australian Changes in War Materiel (AC) circa early 1943.
L.M.74 Belt, waist, Cadet Pattern, dated 22nd March 1930.
Published as part of Military Board Instruction Q.25, introduces the Belt, waist, Cadet Pattern.
AC No. 5770 BELTS, waist, cadet pattern, dated 31st January 1951.

M.B.I’s. were the Australian equivalent of the U.K. Army Council Instructions.
M.B.I. Q.9 / 1930 Issue of Web Equipment to Units, dated 8th February 1930.
This Instruction withdraws Infantry Equipment, A.P. from units & replaces it with Web Equipment.
This Instruction lists Arms and Accoutrements approved to be issued to Cadet Detachments at Colleges & Schools with suitable storage facilities.
